Prince Harry races Usain Bolt in Jamaica

Britain’s Prince William raced Jamaican track star Usain Bolt in the 100 yard dash — and beat him! But it was all in fun.

Bolt was only running at 25% of his maximum speed. Prince Harry left Usain Bolt in his wake as he crossed the finish line at the Usain Bolt Track at the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica today.

Before the Royal foot race began, the two men stretched together on the track. Prince Harry is in Jamaica as part of a Diamond Jubilee Tour, representing Queen Elizabeth II, including Belize, the Bahamas, Jamaica and Brazil.

The West Indian island of Jamaica gained its independence from London, England in 1962. But Jamaican currency still features a prominent image of Queen Elizabeth on one bill.
